SRC does not seek to help individuals adapt more comfortably to unjust systems. It seeks to reclaim the collective power of relationship itself — the power that emerges when people recognize their true connection to one another and to all beings — and to build civilization from the ground up in right relationship with all life.
SRC's work moves along a vertical axis of depth and a horizontal axis of reach — concentration and distribution, held together as one living process rather than two separate programs.
Small cohorts of 10–12 leaders commit to a year-long process, developed by Norma Nakai Burton over three decades of study with Indigenous elders. Together, they trace structural oppression to its roots in individual and collective psyche, and transform it into liberatory power inside a held ceremonial space.
Lighter-touch practices carry the same principles into daily life and public culture. Alchemical Theatre — our leading current form — invites participants to research ancestral lineages and hold ceremony that moves historically antagonistic peoples toward genuine alignment, session by session.

Wellspring Conference Center. A one-day Blanket Exercise bringing Piscataway and Shenandoah Shawnee leaders together with the D.C.-area Church of the Saviour network.
Wellspring Conference Center. A three-day intertribal retreat with 15 Indigenous leaders and elders and more than 40 colonial-settler and immigrant participants — closing with a land tribute to the Piscataway Indian Nation and the Nation's endorsement.
Virginia Theological Seminary. Senior leaders across sectors — including voices from the U.S. State Department, the OAS, and the Guaraní Nation — gathered for three days. This retreat gave rise to Spiritual Repair Collective itself.
